"I like to look for rainbows..."

She's 8! She did it and she did beautifully. Kira has been so excited to be baptized. It's wonderful (and bittersweet) to see how much she has grown and to see a glimpse of the young woman she'll become. I can already see her testimony sprouting and developing strong young roots. I know that she felt the Spirit this weekend and am so glad that she is starting to journal her feelings and blessings. Which brings up the awesome friends and family who helped make this day so special. From the program design to food to gifts for Kira and countless offers of service, we have been showered with blessings and opportunities for the Lord to bless us through others' hands. Though there had been some stress and anxiety over being prepared for such a special day, ultimately there was peace and happiness radiating out of our family at the program, Kira and Christopher especially.

It was so awesome to have Great-grandma, both sets of grandparents and 2 aunts to come help and participate in the baptism program. We have enjoyed seeing family, even if it has been briefly, and know that Kira felt the love of other family not in attendance. She's such a lucky girl to be so very loved.
